With over 15 years of success and growth, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a 3D Designer/Fabricator with strong hands-on and visualization capabilities. Our facility contains a vast array of machines and tools that need skilled minds and hands to create displays of marvel and function.

The Position

Using your creativity and CAD and CNC programming, design, and hands-on fabrication experience, you will contribute to the design and quoting of client projects, building and quality control of finished pieces, and project installation. You will use your skills and creative prowess to solve challenging problems from design to implementation, with training provided on organization-specific processes as needed. 35-hour workweeks are standard, but you may also have overtime opportunities on occasion when needed to meet tight deadlines.

Experience

  • Proficiency with CAD and CAM software is required, familiarity with Rhino 3D considered an asset, as is some experience with electronics.
  • A passion for building things, coupled with experience operating CNC routers, CNC hotwire machines and general machine shop tools
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and collaboration skills dealing with clients
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude and creativity

Environment: Machine shop and small office

Transit Accessibility: Limited, must provide own transportation
